Full-time Equine Lead Groom - Live in or Live out

Location: Monkshatch Garden Farm, Down Lane, Compton, Surrey GU3 1DL

Hours: 40 hours per week, working 5 out of 7 days on a roster, including 1 weekend day.

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Start date: As soon as possible

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced groom to lead our equine team.  Working with rescued horses can be incredibly rewarding and we require a lead groom who has professional working experience with horses.  You must have knowledge of common conditions eg Cushings, can recognise common signs of illnesses eg. colic or lameness and the ability to administer basic equine treatments.  

You will lead our team of grooms and volunteers and liaise with our professional support including vets, farrier and osteopath.  Experience of leading a small team is also required for a successful candidate.
