Bobbie Tulsa

Bobbie Tulsa is one of only two horses that have been born at the Sanctuary. She is the daughter of Phyllis, who was rescued from common land where she had been left to run wild and was already carrying a foal when she came to us.  As Bobbie Tulsa has always been surrounded by kindness and care, she did not inherit the same sensitivities of the others and she has always been a very confident young horse, growing up in an environment of safety and security. She loves people and can only be described as totally delightful – she is so kind and patient and there is never a moment when she is not up for a cuddle and scratch!  We can introduce any of our visitors to her as she seems to understand how calm and gentle she needs to be, particularly if she senses that they are nervous meeting such a big animal - she immediately put them at ease and then laps up the attention that inevitably follows!  Everyone who meets her falls in love with her!  Bobbie Tulsa is such a beautiful horse – in looks and in spirit!
